What is Your Creative Love Story?

What is Your Creative Love Story?

According to last week’s Trust Your Voice podcast guest, we all have one, whether we know it or not!

Lindrea Reynolds, CEO of LR Brand Consulting, Inc., and host of the Next Level Brand Behavior podcast, is a brand storyteller and creative enthusiast who has enhanced the brand experiences of game-changing leaders and businesses across multiple industries in the public and private sectors.

With over 15 years of experience and a deep passion for reimagining storytelling experiences, Lindrea firmly believes that an effective and influential personal brand can only be built from a place of authenticity, creativity, and a heart for genuine human connection.

Here are some of the highlights from our conversation last week:

Identify your core beliefs.

Core beliefs, or values, are the things we care deeply about. In order to create a sustainable brand, you must FIRST identify what those beliefs and values are. This builds a foundation, and helps you to authentically lead and work in a space that aligns with who you are!

Remember: we're all creative!

Sometimes we put ourselves in a box. Often times, we believe only artists, designers, and musicians are creative, but the truth is: we are all creative, this is what makes us unique! Find your authentic space and let your imagination roam free. This is also when we discover what really matters to us, the things we LOVE beyond passion. Our creativity shapes our brand story every day.

Keep asking, looking, and listening.

Contrary to the popular image of the solopreneur, you don’t have to do everything on your own. Regardless of your level of experience, start asking questions, actively listening to other's perspectives, and taking note of their methods. You don't have to imitate their personal brands to succeed, but inspiration can be a starting point to finding your voice. And remember that you can learn from anyone, inside or outside of the workplace.

Let your light shine in more than one room.

It’s important to know who your audience is - but that doesn’t mean you can’t EVER share your brand vision with others outside your normal demographic or career industry! For example, the pandemic and zoom technology connected many people and teams that may never have met otherwise. Don’t be afraid to reach out and interact in unfamiliar spaces; it will help you and others grow!

We All Have A Unique Story to Tell.

Whether you know it or not, every time you walk into a room and interact with someone, they are engaging with your unique brand. So how can you make sure you are bringing your most authentic self into the room? How can you achieve that delicate balance of personal and professional?

Subscribe now to my bi-weekly podcast, which discusses these questions and more, helping you learn to trust your own voice and use it with confidence!

What are some of the core beliefs that you share with your networks? Leave a comment to inspire others!
